La-Seyne-sur-Mer is a coastal town located 80 minutes from Toulon via the D559. Just 30 minutes north of Toulon is Mont Faron, which rises 600m from the ground and overlooks the surrounding countryside and the Mediterranean sea. You can hike up the mountain or take a cable car from Toulon. At its peak is a memorial to the 1944 Allied landings in Provence, and Toulon’s liberation.
